![]() There was a lot of waiting on research in the beginning then sudden battles towards the end of each session and it lead to my frustration, but overall when complete I feel this game has a lot of potential! My advice to developers is to add more music in the background. As the game is currently early access, only offering a Skirmish Mode, there is a lot to be desired. Upon my first play, I was disheartened on loosing so quickly as I had not set up the base in a precise manner, but once I found a groove in switching between the base building, researching, and defense features I found success as well. As a long time Space Geek, I knew I’d find some sort fascination. This type of game is not normally what I play on a regular basis, but I have to admit the intrigue initiated on reading the premise of the game. With updated graphics and new, thrilling space battles, this game should please real time space gamers. We’ve all heard about it loosely in Star Trek and Star Wars, but Hesketh Studios gives an answer to the “what if” of running a corporation in space. In Executive Assault 2, the developer takes your base into space and gives a new perspective on intergalactic trade. The player gets to switch from a real time strategy approach to first person shooter and defend the homestead while upgrading product refineries and defense systems. It is noteworthy to say that this game has been designed and coded by a single developer and is the sequel to Executive Assaultwhich sold 50,000 copies. The competition sends out robot armies and space ships armadas to destroy you at all costs. The first Executive Assault released in 2015 from Hesketh Studios Ltd., and had the player as a CEO of a corporation on a planet making product and using armies to defend your wares from other competition. This real time strategy and first person shooter takes interstellar combat to the next level by giving you the power to control your own destiny. Take a ship out on the battlefield and defend your base from other companies. Design your own base for the best tactical advantage and upgrade your fleet through research. ![]() Here you get to the direct control.Blast off with Executive Assault 2! You’re the CEO of intergalactic business trying to make money off your product as you explore different galaxies. The battles in Executive Assault 2 take place on a very large scale, often involving hundreds of combatants, but unlike most real-time strategy games, you don’t just have to watch your battles from above. Like its predecessor, Executive Assault 2 lets you take the CEO seat of your own company, and your main objective is to assassinate the CEO of a rival company while defending yourself against any number of enemies. Accompanying these new visuals are improved gunplay and a greatly improved set of weapon models and animations. The game looks a lot better visually with glossy finishes and a sleek new UI design – it’s certainly not cutting-edge graphics, but at least the series doesn’t look noticeably dated at the moment. Design and deploy your robot troops intelligently and manage the available resources intelligently to prevail. ![]() Assault 2 Is an ambitious mix of FPS and RTS genres in which you build and maintain a massive base on the planet you are trying to conquer.
